Vertical City
Alongside the river Nieuwe Maas in Rotterdam stands De Rotterdam (2009-2013) by architect Rem Koolhaas. This impressive construction in the Kop van Zuid area is 149 meters and 44 floors high. Moreover the De Rotterdam includes three towers with appartments, a hotel, office space and a parking garage. Together the towers have a surface of 162.000 m2 .
Within the East tower there is a hotel with 285 rooms. Also a garage with 684 parking spots. Mostly the hotel’s roof terrace will make you fall in love with the view. Especially by night with all the lights reflecting on the water of the Nieuwe Maas river. Further the offices are in the middle tower and the apartments in the West tower.
